I just received my 4-12x40 Athlon Neos scope. A buddy of mine had found them online and wanted to try one. I was willing to try the entry level version, Neos. Originally I ordered the standard Duplex but those were having trouble getting delivered and the BDC Lighted reticle was available, so I bought that.
I like it. It is very nicely finished and has great features. Side Parallax, fast focus eyepiece. It has capped turrets but they are very easy to read and click nicely and are easily resettable to zero.
Glass clarity is on par with mid range Bushnell or Nikon. The only complaint I have so far is the reticle is to heavy. The BCD is very similar to the Bushnell 500 BDC you see on the Banners. I was able to shoot it side by side with my buddy's new Kaspa in 4-16x. It is nicer in every way over the Kaspa except the Kaspa has a thinner reticle and BDC lines.
It going to Montana this summer to shoot some prairie dogs so well see how it does in the field in a couple months.
