Although I'm not a Trump fan, I appreciate and agree with his positions on the 2nd Amendment. This is welcome news to me as I was concerned about his position.

I just wish his views on the 2A for anything beyond the ownership and carrying of handguns were more than 12 months old.

He was against the second amendment before he was for it. He was pro-Choice before he was saying he would put women in jail for getting abortions. And he was a democrat and donated 68% of all his political donations to Democrat candidates, including helping Terry McCauliffe in 2014 win a razor thin contest for Virginia's governorship.

He published a book where he stated he was in favor of a national 3 day waiting periods on gun purchases and on a ban of assault weapons. I'm just saying that given THAT history, I wish he had stated at some point in the last 15 years a better stance rather than wait until after he runs for president and has somebody ghostwrite a position paper for him. It's not like he hasn't had media coverage since 2000.

I have to laugh at the numbnutdumbfucks who think a BILLIONAIRE doesn't give money to both sides...then gets bent out of shape because a larger percentage goes to communists when the guy lives in an area that is COMPLETELY DOMINATED by them.

Taking the abortion comment out of context is a cheap shot. The premise was IF ABORTION WERE ILLEGAL. Trump was simply saying that if you do something illegal, you should go to jail. The whole premise of abortion, is that it is the woman's own body, and she can do what she wants with it. The fact is, it involves the woman's body, but the one that dies, is NOT hers. The DNA is not the same. It is not her body. Roe v. Wade was a poor decision, based on THAT premise.

Finally, Trump would lift the prohibition on military members carrying weapons on military bases and in recruiting centers, allowing trained military members to carry weapons to protect themselves from attacks by terrorists, criminals and the mentally unstable, as we have seen recently. hard to believe that was a rule to begin with. the most gun trained people in the world and we ban them from carrying guns as they wear the uniform and are a target for terrorist attacks

puhleeze. this guy is the biggest panderer and most obvious BS artist i have ever seen run for POTUS. he's friggen shameless. but he's what we got and i'd vote for him over hitlary in a second. but i don't believe all his pandering BS for one second. the DJT we see now will most likely not resemble the DJT a couple years from now. i just hope he's not a complete turncoat.

I'm trying really hard, but I just cannot trust the man. He's turned his positions around so many times I think he's got them mounted on a truck wheel.
If he's the nominee, I'll vote for him, but I have a very hard time trusting anyone who's views change more often than the national debt clock.
