Just curious if anyone is hanging on to their G26 and why? Or has everyone abandoned the G26? I was looking at one on Saturday at the range with the finger grip mag extension it did not seem too bad.

My Dad has a g43, I shot it yesterday. I thought it was pretty nice. I have a g36 myself.

I don't have either, but would favor the G26.

I prefer the 10-rd capacity, and the ability to shove a G17 magazine in it.

Did not have a 26,own a 19, bought a 43.
Slim for carry, conceals well, good trigger, shoots well.
I will upgrade sights to XS big dot.

I don't have the G43 but sold a G26 for something else.

G26 with Glock +2 is still pretty easy to conceal with the factory +2 extensions while giving more firing grip. I carried G17 mags for backup.

I don't have a 26, but I do have a 27 set up with the Pearce mag extensions & I have a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so it's same/same as a 26.

Last week I was at the range helping a friend of my wife's select a new pistol.......she demoed several including the G-43 so I shot it a few times.

The 26/27 feels much better in my hand than the 43......there are lots of guns I prefer over the 43 & I am partial to Glocks.

The lady ended up preferring a G-19, FWIW......she shot 3 different Glocks & 2 S&W's. Didn't like the feel of a Ruger, so that one didn't make it to the range.

I like my G43, I carry it a lot, on the other hand draw and fire drills gun is harder for me to get a consistent good grip on.

Same here. I have never had a 26, although I used to have a 27 that went down the road years ago. The 19 is a concealable belt gun and the 43 is a backup that can be carried in a jeans pocket. If I only could pick one gun that had to fulfill both roles for CCW, I would consider the 26, but I cannot guarantee that it would beat the 43.

Had a Glock 27 and couldn't hit with it, so it went down the road.

It just did not fit my hands well.

Bought a 42 and could hit well with it. Then upgraded to the 43 when they came out, and can hit well with it also!

The small Glocks work well for ME!

My 26 isn't going anywhere. 10 rounds. I hit with it just as well as I do with a full size gun. The 43 isn't enough better to ake me switch. It's only 3 oz lighter. If they had shaved another couple ounces I would probably change. I still love 10 rounds though

well I rented a Gen4 and Gen3 26 and recall why I sold my first one, the space between the grip and the mag digs into my ring finger when I shoot the thing. I will try it again to be sure but thinking the 19 is probably the best bet.

A G19 with an undercut trigger guard and the finger grooves sanded off is a thing of beauty. The undercut leaves enough room to comfortably get all the digits on the grip and all the misplaced finger grooves don't get in the way anymore.

I'll add a G43 some time, but the G26 isn't going anywhere.

Fire 4 effect in El Paso, TX.

They had a about a month turn around time when I got it done. They have a few different stipple patterns to choose from.

I've seen some pics on the net of people doing it with a dremal tool and soldering iron. I gave it some serious thought and then came to my senses and paid someone wink

I'm very happy with the results.

I'll keep my 26, better options on even more capacity than the standard 10 rounds.

I did sell my Gen 3 26 for a 43. I loved the 10 round capacity but the 43 just fits me better. Have a 42 and a 19 also and like them all. May even get another. 26 someday.
