Have you G43 owners made any mods to your pistols? Sights, stippling, anything like that? I just added Tru Glo TFO night sights to the gun. I prefer the flat base six round magazines to the ones with the factory pinky extension. I also have some Taran +1 bases on a couple of magazines used for reloads.

I don't have a PPS, but I have shot one. I own a shield and it is my daily carry. Reliability and the ability to conceal has been outstanding. Since you have handled both you know the strengths of each. The one thing the Shield had over all the others including the Glock 43 was the natural feel in hand for me. My hand really likes the slim grip of the Shield.

I've been having the same question as the OP. I have not shot either one, and the range that carries the G43 and Shield does not ave the PPS (original or M2 with button mag release). The original PPS grip was too slim for my liking and the G43 didn't feel like pointing naturally. The shield came up top on pointability and feel, the PPS2 was perfect, but again that is without firing either one. I may rent to G43 and Shield and narrow down further which one to run against the PPS2. Seems like you can't go wrong with any of the choices as long as it fits and feels well.
