Mistakenly fondled one at the local Sportsman Whse and seemed well done but a little heavy and $699 plus the governor share.....
Thoughts on any besides the 6.5 Creedmore???

Dave
I was wanting one in 6.5 but could not find any feedback on the B14 either. I had planned to buy one this past week when I found that Whittakers had Tikka Superlites in .260 REM. The B14 is said to weigh in at 7.1# the superlite at 6# so that is the way I went, the itch for a Bergara will wait for another day.

I got the B14 synthetic and after getting it on paper fired a 3 shot 1/2 in group with the 143gr Eldx Hornady load in 6.5 Creedmoor. The guns are a little heavy but so far I'm very impressed with the overall fit and finish.

I just bought one in 6.5 Creedmoor. I scoped it up yesterday with a Leupold 4-12, and I'll get it out in the next few days now that the 2-week rain has subsided.

If SW puts them on sale at some point I will buy one but at $700 plus 8.6% tax I will wait....

I have one shipped and enroute to me as I speak now in 7 Remington mag. They just started shipping that chambering this year. The ones I've handled remind me of a rem 700 built better. The only place I found the 7 mag was wholesale hunter. Supposedly it's twisted 1 in 9

I've got the Timber in 270. Zeroed it this morning with a Leopold 4-12 shooting 150 gr HSM brand from Cabela's. I got MOA (not sub MOA) groups. Moved over to the 500 yard targets, adjusted the scope using the Strelok app and the fps off the HSM box and hit steel 6 out of 6 at 500 yards. Friend shot 2 out of 2. Targets were 2 foot rounds.
I would not hesitate to buy another one.

I dunno know. Handled the 30-06 last night and wasn't sure what to think about that stock. If I had $700 I'd buy it without hesitation, assuming it beat out some other choices.
