Ive seen mentioned a John Allen 99 Savage collection in some of the threads ,,,Would this be Gen John Allen ? I went to a auction this past Sunday and it was a John Allen collection of 300 plus rifle and pistol collection ,,,He was a Shriner/Gun Collector from Texas that passed away (Son lives here in Missouri) Apparently has 1000 more guns .....Son brought them up from texas to auction off here ........Apparently has a Bunch of Colt snake pistols that didnt go to auction ........Same fellow mentioned or a different John Allen ?
