"...aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one." - Paul to the church in Thessalonica.
You are correct Calhoun ...I was told that ...Surprised you can see that with the poor pics ,,,,,,,,Looks like a lyman 29 1/2 long tang ,,,Has SA 55 on the underside of sight ....Thanks .......What are they worth ? ....Ballpark of course ....My eyes are getting bad all i see is a blur at the tang sight,,,,,,,,,,No disc ......How bad did i get hurt on the rifle at 700 ?
Oh yeah.. you didn't get hurt at all. I'd be grabbing the credit card so fast for a 99T in 30-30 at that price I'd probably rip a hole in my back pocket.
It has honest wear, and the sling studs were added after market, and it's missing the original rear sight (and front sight is missing the red bead I'm guessing), but 99T's in 30-30 are very few and far between. If the rifling is good, you definitely have a keeper.
