I am thinking about getting one next time I build an AR.

I like a 12 or 13 inch free float tube on a mid-length 16" barrel. Looks like an easy way to go.

May go with several Aero parts.

Aero M4E1 uppers are great I have used alot of them.

I recently put together a 260 on an M5 enhanced upper. Really impressed overall. Will definitely do more in the future.

For .308 sized builds, I like them. Decent size for the bigger components without the rails, and seems solid so far. Compared to a DPMS four rail tube, the Aero is much more comfortable.

Nothing wrong with them in the 5.56 size, I just tend to like the smaller diameter tubes like the BCM or the Noveske NSR. YMMV.

How much difference in dia is there? I am new to the ar platform, but tend to agree as with other guns I prefer slim forearms. Example is pump shotguns, a rem870 express is not comfortable to shoot, but my old Ithaca 37s with the ring forearm fit me perfectly.
