I'm interested in loading some 139 grain Hornady Interlock 7mm bullets in my 7mm08. They have a cannelure that is far enough back on the bullet shank that if I were to seat the case mouth on the cannelure, the OAL would be too long for my rifle.

My question is whether there is any problem with seating the cannelure below the case mouth. In the past I've always seated cannelures at the case mouth or above it.
