I have a Model 70 extreme weather 24" barrel in 300 WSM. Been looking at load data out there and thinking about running either a 165 nab or 165 np or 165 ttsx. I noticed on the hogdedon load data site is showing close to 3300 fps with Superperformace and the 165 grn.np. Just trying to work up a one load do everything for this rifle. I also have rl17, 4350, rs Hunter, mag pro etc etc. deer, black bear and elk is the game I plan on chasing. I have a 338 federal for up close work on elk etc. Any thoughts guys?

I tried Superformance in 135gr, 150gr, and 165gr in the 300 WSM and the accuracy was so poor I never chrono'd any of them.
Try Rl-17. I'm getting a solid 3200+ fps and MOA groups.

I have had great luck with it in my 30" bbled 25-06 High Wall. Running the 80 gr TTSX I can get to almost 4000 fps in a rifle with no camming power and little extraction power. Meters wonderfully, shoots very well and kills dead.

Superformance is a VERY progressive burning powder. So the burning curve shifts with increasing pressure. Don't think that you can watch velocity and know where the pressure is.
We've been Pressure Testing it in the Creedmoor for several years now. At least in that cartridge, 50fps off max, is 10,000 psi off max!!
I'm a firm believer in the theory of " If it bleeds, I can kill it".

66.0 gr H4350 in my 300 WSM gives me 3000 fps with 165 AB's & under 1/2 MOA at 100 yards.

I never got around to Superformance with the fantastic results I found with RE17 in the 300 WSM. I'm running the 168 TTSX @ 3100 with 1/2 MOA accuracy and a low SD from a 22.75" factory Rem 700 barrel. 66.5 or 66.6 has been excellent in all three of the 300 WSM I've tried it in. I did find slightly better performance with CCI 250 than 215m. This is from saturday. Had the muzzle threaded and this is the first group I fired with the suppressor installed. Makes it sooooooo much more pleasant to shoot.
