I'll jump in. I don't know if there is a "going rate", but in the last couple of years I saw asking prices for a nice Model 20 in .250 at 1100 and a "beater" .300 at 500. You get them where you find them and suffer the seller's price. But that's how it goes with a rifle that has not been made in 90-years. Best of luck in your search.

I'm not sure there is a "going rate" either. Not many of them around especially in high condition. If you really want one you have to buy it where and when you find it and pay the price.

I've got one .300, that was pretty clean except for scope sidemount, think I gave $650 or so. Found a parts gun that had been Euro-bubba'd with an octagon barrel - but had a Lyman 54 sight. Gave the veteran owner more than it was worth. The bolt from the 2nd works fine in the first one, so I have a good shooter grade .300 with a desirable tang peep sight.

Be nice to have a .250 as a good shooter, but I don't think they will ever achieve high collector status. One truly mint might push a couple grand, but I've never seen one in the flesh.

I gave $500 for 20/26 in 300, with a 2-piece stock (..you can guess the rest of the story), and Lyman 54, and I'm happy to have it.
