Out of curiosity, how did you find that? I went to Ask.com and did some playing around. I never got that map page to come up.

I just looked at it and the aerial maps of our area are years old. Shows trees still in a field that have not been there for at least 5 years.

Checkout Gmap4. https://mappingsupport.com/p/gmap4-free-online-topo-maps.html You can switch from terrain maps, to street maps, to USGS topo maps, to aerial photography, and see the same thing in different ways. KC

I just looked at my house. Agreed - it's at least 5 years old. I've made some changes that don't show. Maybe they buy Google's old maps as they're updated.

I had my house reroofed last December. The aerial photography shows the roofing materials staged on top of the roof, ready for installation.

Google Earth sat photos are dated, it is the same picture, last one of our place was 4/1/16.
Shows the wife's car out front and the Tacoma gone. Shadows show it's mid to late morning.
Wish they were time stamped.
