3 gangs have declared war on the cops and are bringing in guns to shoot them. This might be the time for the police to get rough and take out the gangs once and for all. It won't be easy, though, mainly because of the politicians protecting the gangs.


Chicago gangs reportedly plotting to shoot cops in response to teen's death

Leaders from three Chicago gangs reportedly met last week to discuss plans to kill police officers in response to the officer-involved shooting death of 18-year-old Paul O’Neal.

The Chicago Sun-Times, citing an alert issued to Chicago officers, reported Monday that the meeting took place on Thursday between the gangs Vice Lords, Black Disciples and Four Corner Hustlers.

According to the paper, the Four Corner Hustlers have “provided guns” and pinpointed a “sniper in place.” However, authorities are still unsure where the alleged sniper spot is placed. The gang is also funneling weapons to the other two gangs.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi declined to comment on the situation, saying “the department does not comment on any security measures.”

Dean Angelo, the president of Lodge 7 of the Fraternal Order of Police, said the O’Neal family attorney and statements from the Independent Police Review Authority were to blame for the threats.

“We had inflammatory and false rhetoric coming from (Michael Oppenheimer) and statements that weren’t true,” Angelo said. “You also have a lead investigator in police-involved deaths talking about how shocking and disturbing this is.”

The threats come after the officer-involved shooting death of the man. Police chased the teen into a South Shore neighborhood on July 28 after he allegedly stole a vehicle.

Video released last week purportedly showed some chaos before O’Neal’s death. Police said the body camera of the officer who shot and killed him wasn’t recording.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Monday it was too early to decide whether police officers need more training. He said he supported Superintendent Eddie Johnson’s decision to strip police powers from the officers who fired their weapons at O’Neal.

Johnson hasn't said what policies they may have violated, but department policy largely prohibits shooting at a vehicle if it's the only threat to officers.

The cop handlers won't let them be much more than targets. They could have eradicated the gangs long ago but that would have offended their voting base. I pity the cops in Chitcago, but they know what they're in for when they join, or do shortly after. What a cess pool, from which emerged obama.

Hence my comment about the gangs being protected by politicians. The fix is to erect a 40' wall all round Chicago...and fill it with water.

Tough times to be a police officer now

65 dead in Chit-Ka-GO in the past month. One more is hardly even newsworthy.

Now comes the chorus singing, "WE'VE GOT TO DO SOMETHING !!!!!... So what will our glorious "public servant" politicians do??? They will double down on screaming for more gun control, and further restricting and making it more difficult for law abiding people who work and pay taxes to even dream about the 2nd Amendment. MEANWHILE..... OUT ON THE STREETS..... It will continue to be "business as usual" for the gangs and even the lone wolf types and our so called "public servants" won't do anything but talk about it and decry it instead of acting on it because that would upset their constituents. See how that works?

The politicians will pass the laws but refuse to allow them to be enforced. There are already more than enough laws on the books to clean it all up in short order but the police hands are tied. The solution is there but it has to be used to solve the problem. It's pretty obvious that the politicians have an agenda that needs high crime levels to work.

How can they keep pushing the gun control agenda if they don't have daily examples to wag in front of the low IQ voters.

The problem with this, is that they drink the Kool Aid, and vote. So, the plan, as stupid as it sounds, actually works...

You should be concerned. What happens there is a catalyst for gun grabbers. Their agenda is to keep the crime rates up so people will allow them to outlaw guns for the rest of us.

Those crazy Chicago kids are always making such a fuss.
