After thirty years of trying to draw a Tule elk tag for the Grizzly Island Wildlife Refuge, I finally drew out this year. Granted, some of those thirty years I put in for an almost impossible draw for a bull tag but it was just fine that I drew a cow tag this year. I finally got my Tule elk.

My buddy Karl bagged a 400 lb cow on the 25th out there. Very nice.

Congrats!
Sounds like the drawing odds on Idaho antelope. I got one many years ago and it took 23 years to draw my 2d tag.

Yes Congratulations.

I have always put in for Grizzly Island Bull tag, hoping for one of those bulls. It would be nice to get one. This year I put in for the Siskiyou Bull tag and drew it. Nevertheless, congrats to you. I hope that cow makes for some great table fare.

Take care.

Thanks guys, she tastes great.

Hammerdown - Off and on through the years I would put in for a bull tag but, figured I'd most likely never draw one so instead, I got to go and LOOK at those huge bulls but settle for a cow. Cow or bull, I have my Tule elk.

Reckon they eat the same.

By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.
