Missed Hillary's part. Did she get the same nonstop, machinegunned, four years ago you said, gotcha type questions Trump did? Granted he got off topic sometimes but didn't get shook and seemed to handle being in hostile territory pretty well.

I watched bits and pieces. Lauer obviously allowed Klinton to preview the questions, and let her speak and lie uninterupted. He argued with Trump throughout. He's an a$$ but we knew that already.

Hillary had 13 minutes of questions about her emails. Some of the same questions that have been asked over and over. Everyone who has been following the news knows Hillary is blowing smoke about her emails just as Trump is blowing smoke about his tax returns. Nevertheless, most likely one of them is going to be president, so it would have been nice if questions were about defense, which is what the forum was billed as.

How are the emails not about "defense"?

The state department is not part of the department of defense. A lot of state department business is about trade, treaties and issues not of a military nature. I was hoping to hear what each would do to defend the nation if they were elected president. In my opinion very little of that was covered.

Funny the libs and the conservatives are both saying Lauer did hack job on their candidate. I didn't watch it but that sounds like he did a pretty good job if both parties are upset with the questioning.

Hillary's emails are part of the job. Trump's tax returns aren't. Apples to oranges.
