Have an old Model 70 with a Herters base. Looking to match it up with some 1" scope rings. Let me know what you have.

I think i have a couple of sets of these in my stash. If you still need a set let me know and i will dig them out.

I believe dad's gun base requires a front ring that locks in with a 90* turn and the rear base with a side screw for lack of a better description. Let me know.

With that description it sounds like Redfield/leupold rings are what you need. If you can get a pic of the base it would help identify what you need.
