This morning at 4:30 a.m , I awoke , dress and left the house in a timely fashion. I drove the 30 miles to my hunting spot in full glorious view of the Bright Full moon. When I got to my parking area, I could see well ,even though it was only 5;30. I hike a nice easy trail along about 400 yds. and found my little opening in the thickets to sit and listen for the day to unfold. At about 7:15 I decided to move forward a bit. I had to relieve my self first. After a quick leak, I was zippering , when I heard the clumping of hooves through the trees. I caught movement and moved for my bow. As I got ready, this bull , kept getting closer and as he moved through some pines, I got my bow up and drawn. He popped into my opening at 12 yards and I yelled at him to stop him. My 18 year old easton X7 arrow with an equally old Steel force brodhead hit right in the meaty rear lower portion of his shoulder and he bolted forward at a fast trot down a trail. I took a minute to pause and reflect. then looked for first blood. 10 yards into the trailing I found the rear half of my arrow. It had blood to the fletching. The blood was decent but some what sparse. Enough to keep following but not heavy. After a 45 minute track job . I came up on my prize. I look ahead in the woods and 120 yds. in front of my was the forest road......... and as I looked 80 yards to my left was the glint of my truck windshield!!!!!!!!! I was back at my house at 12 noon with a DIY Bull and all the meat!!!!!! Thank you Lord for the bounty!!!!!! If some can post a few pics for me I will email them to you!!!!

Nicely done! What part ot Wyo did you escape to?
There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone. Everyone knows what they mean. What's more important is time that is known as the little dash inbetween.
