We got any members here involved in a dealership. Looking for the best price on a Husqvarna 460, 20" bar. It would be postage to Australia post code 3886.
Visa or paypal would work great, appreciate if anyone can help or recomend a good place
Thanks Johno

There is a great dealer on Arboristsite. Goes by Spike60. His business name is Ashokan Turf And Timber located in Ulster New York, phone 845 657 6395. Email ashokanturf aol.com.

I've got a 460 with a 24" bar.
You'll not hate it.

johno, You might want to check out: www.baileysonline.com Or call them: 800-322-4539. (I suppose 800 numbers will work from Oz) They are a huge seller of Husky equipment. Myron

+1 on the 460. Mine has a 20" bar and I love it. Lots of power for that length. I thought about the 24", but am glad I got the shorter one.
I bought it on Amazon about 3 years ago.

Reckon i'll go to the 450 or 455R, a bit lighter which was the main reason i'm looking at getting another saw, have the XP 395 for 15 years, a great saw but getting a bit heavy with both shoulders being worn out

If your accustomed to operating a Husky XP saw the 460 will feel like a piece of junk. It's a low end saw.

Thanks for the heads up BW, my saw would be 15-18 years old I guess, local dealer keeps asking if I want to sell it
How about the 450 or 450R any opinions there
By the way Baileys got back to me, waiting a shipping price, this could be the killer Johno

They're alright. Nothing special but not complete junk. Lots of people cuts a few cords a year with them and they love them. I had a 460 for a while and traded it back to the dealer after it wouldn't run right, always ran too lean and scared the chit out of me. Thought it was gonna burn up. Too bad you couldn't find yourself a good used 346xp or 357xp. Those are dandy firewood saws and just the size you're looking for.

A muffler ported 359 is a good saw as well, though I'd be looking for a good used 346XP. That would be a good compliment to your 395.
