Which Williams FireSight for the front only on the Marlin 1895? I am having a hard time understanding.

I figured it out. Just so you know Brownell's has the dovetail sight and hood. The Marlin is the "M" series and the shortest height is .250". You do not need the whole front sight base because the Marlin base will work.

This means you will have to raise your rear sight a little when sighting in. I am using a Leupold scope with the "Quick Release" rings and I wanted to have some good iron sights available just in case. MV out!

Unless you just like the fiber optic sights I recommend saving your money. The new hood is solid, but the sight is just barely better than factory. MV out!
