My first bolt action was a Savage 110 left hand. With the Accu-trigger this fine rifle is now on my want list again.
Do you have any plans to do an article examining this rifle/action in depth?
I hope so.

I would also like to see John do such an article. Lately I've seen him do articles about Winchester, Remington and NULA sounds like it's about time for Savage. Also since Savage is doing CRF with the new centerfeed magazine to solve potential feeding problems with the WSMs, might be a good time to an article about Savage and the WSMs.

It might or might not. I already did a close-up column on the Accu-Trigger. But you never know. We have three new Savage bolts in the house right now, which obviously means something!

When one of my sons starting jerking the trigger I bought a Savage with the Accu-Trigger. I was surprised how quickly he stopped jerking. It seemed to allow his finger to go through the pulling motion before the trigger was activated. I think this helped the anticipation of the shot better. Whatever the case he thinks the Accu-Trigger is the best thing in the world.

The Savage barrel nut allows easy barrel switching without metal cutting. I could do it on my bench with a wrench and headspace gages.
Seems that Savage has taken the play away from Remington.
All guns should be locked up when not in use!

It seems people are getting used to that barrel nut. I have read alot of praises for Savage, very very few complaints.

An after thought for Mule Deer. I also would love to see an in depth review of the new Savage lineup including their specialty varminters.
The article would be even more compelling if it included information on Sharp Shooters Supply, and the number of Savage fans who use additional SSS barrels in various chamberings as a means to a switch barrel rifle.
People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.
