Any of you folks tried shockeys gold bp sub yet? A local shop had some & said it was new. I'm a sucker that way & bought a pound...
I just loaded a bunch of 43 Mauser for accuracy testing & when I poured some out into the small sherbet cup I use, it raised a lot more dust than anything else I've used. Which I do not care for a bit.
Anybody else used this stuff? I'll post accuracy & chronograph consistency after I've fired a bunch of it. SW

I haven't used it, so have no personal experience with it. The few "reviews" I have read about it are mixed, some good, some bad. It seems the majority of those who have used it feel 777 is better, then Pyrodex. I use real BP, but I keep my ears to the ground as far as what is available should the availability of BP dry up.
Someday I hope to be the person my dogs think I am . . . The only true cost of having a dog is its death. Someone once said "a nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves." Shiloh Sharps . . . there is no substitute. NRA Endowment Member

I've had best accuracy results in Euro metric BPCR with Pryodex CTG... I have a couple pounds left, but I don't think it's made anymore. Wifey likes 777 as it doesn't stink up the kitchen when I clean cases...
I don't use much real BP as there are few outlets for it around here. SW
