Getting them started hunting at a young age is a great idea. David

We are trying. We spend a lot of time camping in the summer and they have been with us hunting since they were young. Hope they continue to enjoy it. High School can be a serious distraction... Anyway, David, you have met both of these guys a couple times over the years at the Denver collector show.
I'll be looking forward to seeing you guys at the CGCA show again next May. David

Really warm here in Minnesota for opener last Saturday. Took a spike eater on Saturday with the 1946EG (no pics) and this fork-horn today with the 1920 99F .303 Savage with a Lyman 57SA on it.

Kieth, that 303 must be loaded to the ears! You blew the whole back half off that spike!!
Nice Deer![/quote]
Just spit coffee all over my keyboard! I'm taking a 303 first week of WV. Hope it doesn't do that to my deer. Our deer are so little if it does that much damage, I'll be luck to have it's nose left, Joe.
Opening day/southern tier, after an easy winter last year yielded 3 out 4 tags filled for our group, all taken in the last half-hour of legal daylight. Here's my contribution, with my 99x270 redding.
