I'd love one for my 629 MG.

I'd like to have one for my Bulldog 44. Haven't seen any to fit it so far. Please let us know the make & model and how it fits if you buy one. I'd be very interested.

I carry a full sized .45 1911 with 1 extra mag. all most all the time in a shoulder rig. here on the ranch, it's a lot more comfortable and I don't like being caught sitting on my gun when i am in my jeep or truck. You can get a shoulder rig built by D. Jhonston, Wasilla, Alaska, to fit any pistol make, costs a little more but they will fit and are very comfortable. Rio7

A nice leather one for $30? Good luck!

I do have a nice leather shoulder holster for my 1911, and even 15-20 years ago when I bought it, the price was far higher than $30...

A good shoulder holster is comfortable, secure, distributes the weight of the gun and extra ammo well, and invisible under a covering garment.

In the wintertime. Or light jacket weather here in TX, I prefer to carry either a 1911 or my Glock 23 in a Galco Jackass shoulder holster rig. They run about $135 bucks.

If I'm carrying a revolver or SAA at the Ranch, then I use my El Paso Saddlery Tanker holster rig.

I have a shoulder holster for my 629 ... great way to carry an N-frame.

That's a nice looking rig! I think I might need one for my Colt LW Commander!

Shoulders can be handy. The negative is that when you unholster, you will muzzle yourself. Be aware and be careful and practice to consciously keep your finger clear of the trigger until you are passed your arm.

PS I carry a 629 in a sort of a chest/shoulder hybrid.

Love them for hunting but they suck for every day carry

I don't care for a shoulder holster for CCW or for hunting. I use a belt holster for CCW and a chest holster for hunting.
