Make: Winchester Model: M70 Pre 64 Caliber: 270Win Price: $2000.00 + Actual Shipping Other info: Excellent condition low round count pre-64 M70 feather weight 270win. Includes all the extra 270 ammo I have (reloads worked up for the rifle 60 rounds), leather sling. Im including a bag of brass (more then 400pcs) and lots of reloading bullets (over 1300 premium bullets). Rifle has a BRAND NEW 3-10x Leupold VX-3 with WARN mounts. I do have the front sight cover. This rifle is in excellent condition. The stock was bedded. However, I believe the stock is not factory. Serial number is 5576XX (by winchesters sight it was made in 1961). Im also including a set of RCBS Dies. Also including 60 rounds of ammo 130gr ammo. As the rifle sits currently with mounted optics.

Nope, not a factory stock; but a nice looking stock none the less. I believe someone recently had a factory FW stock for sale on the 'Fire.

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

It's pretty obvious the rifle is/has been refinished. Does not have its original stock, which the OP has stated. Looks like a very nice rifle, but has lost almost all of its collectability with the refinish work...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
