Obamas buying a $4.25 million desert home Somebody needs to look into where they got that kind of money. miles I asked the same question in a different thread: 8 years at $400K = $3.2M. The California house was more than $4M. They are renting a $4M house in DC. And they purchased a house in HI. When I did my anniversary cruise in HI 14 years ago, property on Kauai "way up the mountain" from town was still more than $600K per acre for the bare rock... All I can figure is that he must have done a good job of pinching pennies while he was a "community organizer" in Chicago... <sarcasm off> Does anyone anywhere even think that he wasn't involved with the clintons shakedowns. Really!
