Anyone have any input on a 2.5-10x 50 rifle scope? I am considering the Kahles C 2.5-10x50 4A. The application is 0-200 yard WT deer hunting. I have another Kahles 3.5-10 x 50 with a 1" tube and #4 objective that has been a pretty good scope. Any input is welcomed.

For 200 yard shots, why burden your rifle with a club???Doug has some Meopta 2-10 X44`s with the #4 for $400.00 that will do everything the Kahles will do.
Its all right to be white!! Stupidity left unattended will run rampant Don't argue with stupid people, They will drag you down to their level and then win by experience

I had one and it is a very good scope for hunting from a fixed stand especially in low light.

At the price you can get that Kahles C for right now, you won't find any better performance in that price range for new scope.

Is this strictly a low light scope or just general hunting scope?

Been using a VXR 2-7x33 Firedot 4 a lot lately. Very nice glass and reticle. Plenty bright also. Can't see needing more for 200 yards.......

That is one of the finest first focal plane low light hunting scope you can buy for $1000. It is on par with Zeiss Victory Diavari pre Lotutec. If you don't do any night hunting a Meopta or Conquest are hard to beat as far as price/performance ratio goes.

Is this strictly a low light scope or just general hunting scope? general hunting, and I just found out the C is FFP, I may want the CSX instead. My low light business is just legal hunting times. Once in a while hunting pigs after dark and a green light on the gun. I do like a 50mm objective better it is easier to find the image to me when you have to shoot pretty fast.

Kahles makes a very capable scope. You also might consider the 2.5-10x44 Leica ER4's. They are on sale at Eurooptic for under $800 and are a super buy on a very capable optic!
