They are young bears. I am going to throw out a guess since the pictures really don't show a whole lot. A view with all fours on the ground would be a better indicator. They are all under 200 pounds. Guessing 150 - 180.

Thanks, there are five that have been sighted on the property, don't have a pic of the biggest one yet. Might put in for a tag next year.

My family will pass up a deer roast for a bear roast any day. Good luck.

Thanks, I haven't tried it, but would like to. I appreciate the info on size, and this way, they have at least a year to grow.

Cook it well. Bears can carry Trichinosis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrichinosisTrichinosis is a parasitic disease caused by roundworms of the Trichinella type. During the initial infection invasion of the intestines can result in diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting.
Migration of larvae to muscle, which occurs about a week after being infected, can cause swelling of the face, inflammation of the whites of the eyes, fever, muscle pains, and a rash.
Minor infection may be without symptoms. Complications may include inflammation of heart muscle, central nervous system involvement, and inflammation of the lungs.[1]

Probably dress out around 200 at best. You want the ears to look tiny and the belly dragging on the ground before it's a shooter for us.
They would be tasty though!

Thanks, the one I didn't get a pic of is the one I'm interested in, he was dragging his belly and had small, far apart ears. Looked like he was wearing baggy drawers, too. Thanks again for all of the info, the hard part will be to get drawn, and to have them around during the season.

Hopefully you will get an opportunity to find out. Just a heads-up....they drag like pulling a lead sled. Hopefully you will have a short drag in your future. Best of luck
