I have a near 16 year old Steiner Bighorn 9x40 Military Marine Binocular. They have been great glass. About 1 month ago I had an issue with a prism coming out of its spot slightly. I sent them in for a repair estimate due to this models 10 year warrantee, I was expecting a bill for the repair. I got an Email saying the repairs that they did, then it was shipped. Opened the package just now and Steiner completely rebuilt them. No charge. These binocular where in excessively used condition. Now they look new.

Good to hear I have had a new pair of 7x30 Commander binoculars we got on closeout 1 1/2 years ago, hope I don't have to use it though. This replaced a pair of 8x30 Predators I lost in some thick bush years ago I honestly don't know why individual focus binocoulars aren't more popular.

Glad to read this. I need to send my pair in now that hunting season is over. 15 years of being used a lot is finally catching up with them.
