Excellent!

So far Trump hasn't said anything to indicate he's in favor of divesting public lands. But his election is sure to embolden those who would.

He has, in fact, spoken out against giving away our public lands. Agreed, however, that those who would steal this legacy from us and posterity are trying very hard to make it happen right now.

"The weeks since Donald Trump became president-elect have been dark times for the sportsmen’s conservation community for this very scary reason: There is now no dependable stop on the GOP congressional agenda that has been largely hostile to key sportsmen’s issues."

Yup. I expect nothing but up-hill battles with these short-sighted corporate drones who care nothing for the greater good.

Thanks for sharing. It's never been more important to be involved than now.

It is important to stay involved and stay alerted to possible changes to the "landscape".

Here's a piece that gives me hope, I view it as a big positive for public lands from the newly elected... from Outdoor Life. But never drop your guard.

We have an interesting situation where the President elect has stated he would not divest the lands, yet the party platform says they would in certain situations. Now is the time to influence policy.

There's a good op-ed piece by Ben Long on the nominee for Interior, Ryan Zinke, in yesterday's Denver Post.
