So today I grab some groceries at the local Safeway store, and on the way out I see 2 swanky old bags with mustaches bitching up a storm. Apparently, someone parked on the driver's side of their beat up old sedan, sporting a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker. The car next to them was about 10 inches from their driver's door and in a spot that isn't even a parking spot. I also noticed that in front of THEIR car is a "Veterans Only" parking sign.
HER: I can't believe how f@#$%& insensitive and rude some people can be!!! I can't even get in my car. How the hell am I going to get out of here???
ME: Yeah, people can be jackasses, parking where they're not supposed to.
HER: All they had to do was park over there, and walk about 30 feet more to the store, but they had to be lazy and block me out of my car.
ME: So are you a veteran?
HER: (Looking at the Veterans parking sign right in front of her own car) No, why, were you on active duty?
ME: Yes, and I deployed 3 times.
HER: (Stupid look on her face) I can't believe this schitt!
ME: Yeah, people can be dicks. (Noticing how the snow was coming down quite heavy) Good luck getting in your car.

I was just going to ask them why they didn't get in the passenger side and squirm over into the driver's seat, but then I noticed they were way too fat to make that happen. Of course, I didn't offer.

shoulda handed them a cucumber and said happy holidays I've gotten in trouble more than once by wagging a cucumber at my wife in the supermarket!  Funny how some people embarrass so easily... Instead of hitting me like she used to do, now she just walks off as if she doesn't know me.

I noticed recently that Harris Teeter, a major grocer in North Carolina has veterans only parking.

Why not? Fake limbs, wheel chairs, walkers, old age grandpas, that can hardly walk.
They should get firsts dibs, not some fat skanky sow with piglets.
