In August of 2007 I read the first post by Northern Dave concerning his proposed deer camp on land he and his wife had bought. Since that time I have read and participated in all 3287 (TO DATE)pages and made some very good friends along the way,acquired a chickenbuck hat with my name on it as well as a chickenbuck T-shirt, and just in general thoroughly enjoyed the whole thread.
I remember in June of 2008 after by-pass surgery that I was most anxious to get home to catch up on all that had gone on while I was hospitalized.Anticipation made me get better quicker.
Now we are celebrating our 10th. Christmas here. So much has gone on and changes have taken place in all of our lives AND WE HAVE SHARED THEM ALL WITH ONE ANOTHER.
I really treasure this group and wish you all the very best MERRY CHRISTMAS.

We are currently waiting for a storm that's supposedly roaring in on us. We aren't too worried, the plow truck is staged, ready to go.

Merry Christmas to a great group here on the chickenbuck thread! We are also awaiting the storm. It has rained (which is nice) and the wind is picking up pretty good. I'm sitting here in my recliner wearing my new fluffy, one piece footy pajamas  my wife got me and watching "We're the Millers." (For those Jennifer Aniston fans out there, this is a must see!)

Crazy weather here too. Last week lows in the teens with heaters working overtime . Yesterday 73* with windows open and ceiling fans on and thunder storms .
