I have a remington 700 300 wsm stainless fluted
Remington Ti stock
Has sako extractor installed
Problem is the barrel has been turned and there is something not right. When you shoot it have a hard time extracting brass. Think there something not right in chamber stretches the brass out. I do not have time for a project.

More info is I bought the gun this way.
Barrel is 1/4" turn past factory
Accuracy was good with the little I shot it.
I believe is was a SF factory gun
Will sell barreled action for $500

I need the stock if you sell it separate.

Weight is 6.6lb 24" barrel

I sold this gun as is and the buyer told me the problems so I was just relaying them.
Shot the gun today using factory 150gr federal fusion
Measurements
Case Length before 2.085 after 2.090
Center of case diameter before .544 after .550
Neck diameter before .338 after .345

Gun ejected cases fine. It took Alittle more force to lift bolt but nothing major.

Is it just the picture or does the neck of the fired brass not have a concentric and level top angle at the shoulder after firing? Also Was it reamed again when the set back was done if you know?

I think it is the picture. Looks to me it pushed the shoulder down. And the web right above the rim is .01 off. I think a rebarrel is in order.
