Any long term analysis of either with accuracy? Which one should I buy?

I have a Sendero in 300 rum, shoots the berger 230 grn OTM tactical into .25s.. I would say pick your cartridge first then decide as the Senderos come in many different cartridges the 5r not so many choices. The new Gen II 5r is pretty sweet looking no doubt.

I like the 5R milspec slightly better since it has a 24" barrel but I'm running a 308 Win. The Sendero is a sharp looking rifle that will shoot very well. You won't go wrong with either! I would suggest bedding the Sendero.

are you talking about new remingtons? I personally wouldn't buy any of them. The quality level has went way down with the freedom group running the company. The other thing that has changed is there is just flat out better stuff than factory remington ever was now days. I would look at tikkas first everyone I have owned has blown away remingtons. I would also look at a ruger prescision if the weight isn't too much.

My friend has had bad luck with factory Remington 700's the last few tries and would certainly agree. My last couple have shot well (including a Sendero) though that one had other issues, mainly with the chamber.
Be advised that the Sendero II stock is a love/hate affair with that dang palm swell. I hate it. Hurts my wrist from prone. Even just the same HS stock sans palm swell is far better IMHO.
The CENTER will hold.

I have the Sendero in 7mm ultra mag and the 5Rin 300Win Mag. Both are great. I want a Sendero in 264 Win mag

I think the gen2 5r is a nice looking firearm with the brown on black configuration and the 24'' barrel is enough for my purposes. Just not a fan of the .308 and I have a 300win mag now. I thought of the Sendero because of the 7 mag option and the fluted barrel is sweet too.

The Sendero in a 28Nosler would be the one with a 25'' barrel.

28 Nosler Sendero would be nice. I put a 26 Nosler 5R barrel on one of mine.
