Dean, IMO, yes. I upgraded to gain more storage capacity, no ads is an added bonus.

A full year for the price of a 12 pack of beer.

Photobucket won't show me images when trying to view them on their site if I have ad block running. It's annoying.

I had my computer "upgraded" several months ago and one of the benefits was losing the ability to use Photobucket.

Last week, I spent over an hour at my local Staples store and a very knowledgeable young lady helped me restore the ability to use Photobucket on my computer. NO CHARGE.

I don't know enough about computers to understand what she did, but, I do know, it now works for me.

BTW: I'm a huge fan of TinyPic and their integrated keyboard. I've not used anything easier or more streamlined for posting pictures in forums.

And it's free.

Giving the upgraded, ad free, Photobucket a try. I've wasted $15 on goofier things! Right away it's faster in every aspect. Nice NOT seeing any ads too! Thanks for all the tips and advise, Happy New Year! Dean

Ok, so what are the alternatives to Photobucket?

Does the 15$ / year subscription include more storage space above what came with the free version ? I hit the 2.2 G limit last fall , broke down and tried to spend the 15$ yesterday. Log in , hit get more storage button , choose the 15$ plan , link takes me back to log in screen . rinse and repeat several times.
Tried the 35$ plan just to see if that would work , but , same circle of back to log in page.... frown
Any ideas ?

When I upgraded, I hit the "ad free" tab, it directed me to a payment page, I paid via paypal and have been going strong ever since with no problems or issues (yet!). Increased speed and storage, so far, so good.
