I've recently saw that the Tikka Forest have come down in price. Is there a reason for this like a factory overrun or some other factors?

Never handled or shot one, yet they look nice for wood/blue. The .260 and 7mm-08 are the same price but I was wondering if either has an advantage over the other or if they are even worth the sale price.

Any thought or suggestions? Thanks Gentleman.

I am interested too. I like their stocks, they have a higher comb for prone shooting.

If they shoot like a Tikka I would buy one! I believe its just a Tikka with a different stock? for 599.00 it would be hard to beat?

Thanks for clearing that up blairvt!

Been out of the loop on this. Those T3's listed in europtics were the ones I saw for $599. The new T3x looks like it is fixing the issued T3 owners were having to deal with themselves.

The T3x fixes non-existent problems for $100

I like the stock on the T3 Forest model very much, but that roll over cheek piece makes it a right hand operation only. I am pretty sure I wouldn't want to break a shot left handed with it at all.
