Quit worrying about one piece of brass. Part of your reloading QC should be inspecting every primer for compound and an anvil. Maybe Norma will institute more rigorous QC, and that will raise the cost of every box $10. Is that better? Now, if most of the brass in the box has that defect, sure, you should warn Norma about a systemic problem in their process.

Maybe the chinese are making norma brass now. They pretty well copied every other thing on the Market.

Unfortunately with every company running at max capacity for several years it seems there are a few more mistakes than there once was. That being said, I don't sweat a case or two having to be tossed.

As long as it's just a couple per bag/box, I'll toss em and not give a second thought about it.

Usually at least one in every bunch. In my last two boxes of Lapua I've culled one out of each, still ended up with 100 though....

I like most just toss out the bad ones and move on. I don't think twice about it.
