Keeping fingers crossed

Things fall over dead all around me when I light off my braked 30-378. The recoil is fine, but if there's any sort of structure (trees, boulders, etc) in front or too the side, I'm plugging my ears with something before it goes off.

Those shooting each other in Chicago won't need to do it from vehicles anymore and harm innocent bystanders. They can just walk up to the victim, shoot, and then stroll away without anyone noticing. I support this.

Sure hope it passes! If it does, Supressor manufacturers won't be able to produce enough to meet the sales demand!

The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

Here's the thing, those damn things are expensive. For what they are, a simple muffler, they should in no way be near that expensive. They are worth 1/10th of what they cost given what they are. A tube with a bunch of baffles, not much more than that.
If anyone can then produce them without the permitting process and the ATF looking up their azz every 3 minutes that price will come down hard simply from competition and the fact that they can be cranked out on an assembly line.

That's the truth, it's insane what they cost. Suppressor manufacturers have been raping people because they can get away with it due to the PITA government paperwork creating an artificial market. If the HPA passes the prices should drop like a rock after the initial sales run. I've got a friend that's a recently retired machinist that used to work with titanium a lot, he's been a bit bored in retirement. I smell a business opportunity.
