Crap. I turned it off after OK went ahead by a TD. What happened?

Boise came back and tied it up in the last minute. Then won by 1 in OT. The score board looked more like a basketball game.

It was a great game, anytime OU gets beat and Barry Switzer has to set there and watch ,it's great and it being a Bowl game on National TV just makes it even better . what a neat little University going against a large well known University like OU and beating them makes it even better.

Best college game I have ever seen! I was rooting for the Broncos the whole time. The play calling and execution by Boise was outstanding. The final two point conversion play faked OU right out of their shorts. The whole OU defense went one way and the running back the other way. Far out!

I have to admit that I came away from this game with more respect for the Broncos than I had going in.
It sure was a surprise to me.

Several things really stand out in this game.

1- BSU, I have to admit begrudgingly, can play with the BCS boys.

2- The "hook and ladder" play worked to perfection and was a thing of beauty, but most of all, looked like a clean play, practiced and run not in panic mode but with the confidence it would work.

3- Hats off to the BSU coach and players...they played with confidence...and some, like me, concluded that when OU got that interception return that BSU would fold up their tent and go home, but instead they took it as a challenge and got up off the mat like a heavy-weight prize fighter and kept slugging.

4- Most important...their coach...nuts the size of Texas...choosing to go for 2 and the win, and another beautiful play call to get it. If he wants a "big time job" I think he'll likely be getting some phone calls in the coming weeks.

Stoops and Co. looked like they couldn't believe this "WAC pretender" wouldn't stay down when knocked down...they were in total shock!

If the teams were allowed to play off against one another year-in, year-out, say... in a playoff system... the "pretender conference" thing would go away pretty fast.

Conference, schmonference... one team just might be as good, or better, than the other, regardless of what school the team is from, or what conference those schools are in.

Thank you Boise State and Rutgers for starting to show folks that... finally.

I suspect that the Marshall and Tulane teams a few years back could have started that show earlier... if only they had been given a chance to do so.

Even tho OU lost, that was a hell of a game to watch.

Doesn't get any better than that.

Congrats Boise State

Before the game someone said this matchup was a lose-lose for OU, which is probably true, but the lose they got I'm sure tastes a whole lot worse than the lose they thought they were getting.
