A local shop has the new Tupperware kimber hunters on sale for $660. I had to go down and see if they had a creedmoor to tempt me with. They said sorry the creedmoors went first. Then I noticed one on the rack that was longer than the others. It turned out to be a 280 ai. I couldn't resist and ended up picking it up. I think it's a lot of rifle for $660. When it warms up I'll see how it shoots.

I have a 280AI in the Montana

It's as good as it gets cartridge wise in the 3.3" action class

Didn't realize they were shipping LA Hunters! I also have the Montana in 280AI, great shooter and great to carry.

Man that is about $100 cheaper than they are going for around here. Great deal.

Like everyone else said, very curious as to how it works for you.

I was looking at one this morning. Not sure what to make of the molded trigger-guard? Just doesn't look quite right to me!
Ah well, as long as it shoots and carries well...

Did you weigh it? How much heavier than the short action?

I owned a Montana in 280 ai for awhile that shot ok, a friend talked me out of it because he was really trying to find one for his boy and there where none around at the time. I planned on picking up another one day and then I saw this hunter.
