Can anyone ID this critter that I caught on my game camera at the cabin? I can’t pause it fast enough to get a still.
A few additional facts:
Wolves not “officially” known to be in the area yet, although some claim to have seen them or their tracks. Many red foxes in the area, and we have many game camera pictures, but I have never seen one move like that. I am not aware of any bobcats generally in the area. I have one picture of a mountain lion standing a few yards from the front door taken September 2015. Many coyotes in the area but they tend to travel in packs and I have not seen one in the “subdivision.” Neighbors’ dogs are generally docile, and this was after hunting seasons closed and before snowmobile season started, so not many people around during that time of year.
Thanks!

Thanks for the still, SandBilly, and thanks to all for the ideas. I am sure it was not Flave in any personality because none of the booze in the cabin was touched. There's even less chance of it being a pig. Not a deer-the ground slopes up gradually and this is too low to the ground.
Now that y'all mention it, I do recall someone talking about seeing a lynx in the general area a while back.
Keep the thoughts coming. I was hoping that FieldGrade would weigh in at some point.

This might be a dumb question but what kind of tracks are in the snow?
It's a good question, but the snow was 3-4 feet deeper by the time the footage was retrieved. Even fresh prints in the snow disappear quickly with the wind around there.
