A couple years ago I bought an "Iron Framed" Henry. Well, it's actually steel, but I thought I'd use the historical name. It's in .44-40 and I'm thrilled. Originally, I ordered the .45 Colt but they sent the wrong rifle and I decided to keep it. My load is 30 grains of 777 under a 210 grain flat nose cast lead. My muzzle velocity averages about 1356fps and it's fairly accurate. I haven't spent much time trying to get a tight group, preferring to just burn smoke and knock down bowling pins. This is a sweet rifle and the fact it has some historical significance makes it even more fun!
