Anyone used one, use on ? i am looking at the 6x42 A2000 series and wondering if it is a decent glass. its gonna be in QR mounts and will probably not be used as much as the iron sights.

I have an Artemis 2000 3 X 9 X 42 purchased in 2002. It has held up well. I have looked through the 6 X 42 that you are considering in a gunshop. The 4B is interesting. Didn't have a chance to look at the 6X in a low light situation. Testing the 3 X 9 in low light situations it came in better than a Vari X III and not quite as good as a Conquest. I had a chance to look through a new Meostar like Popapi's and was very impressed.
The drawback to Meoptas for me is eye relief. I pulled mine off of a 300 Winchester because of lack of eye relief. I put it on a 25-06 and am happy with it there.

Meopta Meostar are excellent scopes. Artemis is an older line and the couple that I saw were not up to Meostar's optical quality.
