I have been trying to develop political awareness in my 6 year old son. My principal teaching aide has been the "bite tax". I grab a few fries out of his happy meal before giving him the box. Last night I took a bite out of his ice cream sandwich before giving it to him. Today, I took a bite out of his hot dog. It prompted him to scream that he does not like taxes. I then explained to him that I don't like giving my money to people who have not earned it either. I told him that democrats want to take our money and give it to others and advised that he should vote conservative if he hates taxes.

For your next lesson, send him out to rake leaves for 2 hours, and promise him $10. When he gets done, only give him $6, and tell him you're gonna use the other $4 to buy the cat some food and a squeaky toy. When he complains that the cat didn't do any work, tell him that's what the govt does every day for lazy folks in this country...
When he gets done complaining, tell him he has to go clean the cat's litter box, too......
