Anybody know about these coolers? On sale and free delivery. Tempted to get one. I never wanted to get a yeti but tempted to try one of these.

They are the real deal. Keeps ice as long as the Yeti. Solidly built.

Same same. The guys that started Rtic left Yeti to do their own thing. They are exactly the same.

Just loaded up two 45 quart RTIC for a trip.

Only thing is delivery was slow when I ordered, like months, but I was in no rush and I got two 45-qt RTICs for the price of one 45-qt Yeti.

I am happy with mine. Would do again.

Has anyone used the 24 can model? (Yeti or otherwise) Does the ice last longer than in a normal cooler?

If you're referring to the soft bag type, they don't keep ice well at all.

My RTIC does far better than a conventional.

I've got 2 65's and a camo soft cooler. The soft sided cooler will freeze a beer solid with the Arctic frozen ice off of Amazon. I have been more than pleased with my coolers and would recommend them to anyone. If you order now, there is no wait on them.

I haven't tested it with ice in really hot weather yet.

The RTIC must be far better than the Yeti's.

There are several companies cloning yeti now and doing a very good job. Rtic was the cheapest I found for what looks to be similar products.

So the soft style is a better bet than the hard plastic??

Are they hard to keep clean?

The only reason I bought a soft side is because I wanted an 'in the cab' cooler.

Quieter, doesn't slide around as easy, and if you ever roll it shouldn't bounce off your head quite as hard.....grin

I'm going to buy another, smaller soft side for a dedicated cab cooler.

Sam,

Any issues with dust/dirt in the zipper?

Bob, not yet but a zipper on a cooler was my number one concern.
(I take coolers somewhat seriously...)

It's a fine toothed zipper with 'seals' on the outside of where they meet. A year or two of use who knows...

I never really planned on using the zipper long term.

Kind of a pain in the ass every time you wanna get in.

Just leave it un-zipped if you're pulling beers out of it.

They send a little tube of zipper lube with it!

(seriously)

The fricken windows have zippers, and just like the ones on your pants, keep them clean....
