Everything I read about this stuff is that it's magic. I have some on order and plan to load up the 260ai with it under the new rdf's.

I'm curious if anyone has loaded a 223ai with heavies. It sounds popular in the 243 with heavier bullets.

I use it in a .25/06 with 100 gr NBT's,.270 with 160 gr NP and finally a .300 Wby and 180 gr NP.

Think it's too slow for the .223ai even with the heavies.

I load it in 243 Win with 107gr amax for wolf and deer loads, and also 270 Win with 150gr interlocks for elk. I bought the first lb I ever saw on the shelf about a year ago, and have not seen another bottle for sale again anywhere local.

I used it on an elk about a week ago. 270 Win and 150 partition worked fine.

The speed with that combination was pretty amazing, I had to adjust my scope down from my usual setting with 130's.

Most of the time it can be found around here. My brother picked up 2 lbs. at Cabelas the other day.

Timbermaster,

I've picked up a pound or two here and there in Montana, from Helena to Big Timber.

When it shows up it tends not to last long. When I brought the first pound found in Helena (the only one in the store) to the cash register, the young woman who took my credit card remarked that she'd just put out eight 1-pound canisters earlier in the week.

I bought some the first time I saw some when powders were hard to find. I tried the loads on Alliant's website in my 300 Weatherby. From minimum to max it shot good groups. The best of anything I've tried in it. I bought 3 more pounds and haven't seen any since.

I was lucky enough to find an 8lb keg in a Sportsmans Warehouse.

I've got an 8 pounder coming. I'm not hearing anyone not happy with it.

I have used quite a bit of it and has helped me consolidate 3-4 powders into 1.

I've only been able to find 1 pound. I'm breaking in a 8 twist 22-250ai shooting the new 70gr RDF.

I just shot the 70 rdf out of my 223ai. Same point of aim @ 100 as the 80gr custom comp was 4.5 minutes higher than the 80 @ 450 yds. I'm curious to see if 26 will work in the ai with some heavies.
