It seems as though the educators in this country want to fill this position from within this failing system. The Dept of Ed has only been in existence since 1979 and the results it has produced have declined every year. Let's think outside the box a bit. Maybe not Betsy but I feel that if the NEA approves of a nominee, the system , not Education is the nominees first priority
