Had mine for some time now and like it better each time I take it out.
Helluva lot handier to carry than my old 1911A1 Springfield.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

It has been posted here many times that a lightweight commander type 1911 is one of the top picks for carry.
I agree.
The Ruger is a good value.
Gun Shows are almost as comical as boat ramps in the Spring.

I picked up a lightweight commander-style Ruger back in the fall. I'm still in breaking-in/reliability testing phase (its dragging out, haven't been to range much lately) but definitely like the platform.

Yes. Only fired a few rounds. First range fay made me appreciate my steel frame 1911, but improving drastically.
