They have 2 more seasons shot already?

I wish I had unlimited internet to access Netflix. Miss Longmire.

I watched 3 seasons, but the last one I watched wasn't nearly as good. Haven't bothered trying to catch up...

Did read several of the books and they were all worth while...

I'm sure Comcast will offer it at some point, for the low price of $5 an episode mad

A not so good Longmire is better than 93% of everything else available. Give or take.

There are at least 8 or 9 cop shows on CBS

Longmire is to me...better than all the CSI, NCIS BS

Characters are what makes a show! smile

You can get all the seasons except for the latest season, from Walmart or amazon if you so desire.

Me too!
Beside just liking the series, they bring some income into our little burg.
The plaza, his office and the hotel are here. Much filming occurs here, or around here - Santa Fe, and the Valles Caldera near Los Alamos.

Mark, I could see the Valles in the show. I just finished the Netflix shows. Kind of funny they filmed in NM and make it Wy. I think they hit every stereotype of cowboy west and indians. I actualy liked it, even tho it is very hokie

Longmire has more bad stuff going on his county in a few episodes than the the entire state has in a year. He and his entire staff also need some in-service training on search and seizure, but the show would be less interesting watching them type warrants and stuff. Vick needs to buy her shirts one size larger and button up one more button.

Apparently the author got a very nice letter from the Wyoming Sheriffs association, addressed to Sheriff Longmire, asking to him to speak at their annual conference. They wanted to hear from him about his investigative techniques and noted that Absoroka county seems to have a murder rate far out of proportion to the rest of the state. grin

I just finished the most recent book and enjoyed it but I really need some more justification for joining Netflix.

I love quite a few of the series Netflix runs like Longmire. Another good one is "Copper", Civil war era NY detectives.

I followed the "Copper" series when it was first aired on BBC America. Really liked it but after a couple of seasons though it was starting to have some pretty weird off-the-wall story lines. Then next thing you know it was canceled mid-plot without any lead up to a final series or even an episode.

Isn't that the truth! My wife likes the Hallmark channel and those sappy shows and watches "Murder She Wrote" sometimes. I have always laughed and said I would never travel with her and if I found out she was in the town I was in-I'm out. When she arrives-somebody dies. But my wife and I both watch Longmire.
