Fred,

If I get the chance I'd pay for 6 or 7 guns, as long as they aren't rusted to the point of inevitable mechanical failure.

Never used PPU brass. So far only R-P fire formed or Nosler. Regular 280 brass was a little tough to find in R-P last time I stocked up. I see Hornady has it regularly though. Last time I used Hornady brass it was 45-70. Not bad but a little short.

Been using 280 R.E.M. Brass from Norma and it's been a good lot so far.

I'll check Norma out. I'm good now for quite a while as I'm primarily a hunter and not a target shooter. When it comes to plinking or target shooting I just break out the 22LR or the .223. My .223 is basically set up the same as the 280 sans the bolt throw so not much difference when it comes to practice. That and most of my "target shooting" is done with a Glock.
Looking hard at a 6mm Creed though for goofing off purposes. That would be more practical for my wants and needs than a 6.5. Looks like it is gaining ground and pushes the 108's and 115's nicely. Nothing a .243 won't do though and the whole COAL thing isn't a big deal to me. I don't competitively shoot or whine about not fitting the longest, sleekest bullet in the magazine. I just make the first shot count. wink

Wa. By colfax, got a bro with some ground And north of Ellensburg. Got a couple sneak spots between the two. Marmot To be technically correct. We only fire about 400 rounds a day so it's not Prairie dog action but it's funny to see the bros and kill stuff.

I've been going down to the Boise area for the last ten years and it's been great but would like to put together a local group for a two or three day get-together.
