I'm liking Aldi's large scallops. They're cryovaced with liquid and liquor sucked out before being weighed. Used the leftover remoullade on a big burger for lunch yesterday. Been fencing with a $1600 French door stainless steel monolith PITA holding down my kitchen floor all afternoon. May have to spoil myself a little tonight.

Thick cut smothered pork loin slices with garlic green beans and pressure cooked russets.Ice cold milk. Pistachio almond ice cream for dessert. Food.com is my go to site for recipes and some of them are just killer for this simple eating guy. Darn pics get me every time ! Anyhoo, pretty good and super easy which is the way I like it. http://www.food.com/recipe/onion-and-garlic-smothered-pork-chops-45354Edit: This recipe is just great during cold weather but the next time I make it I'll add some sweet and sour red cabbage next to the taters and beans. David, would this qualify as a meat and three ?  Denny--Absolutely and a great one at that!!!!

Home made is easy & best, but good quality "bottled" is readily available & pretty good. Presidents Choice Thai / Sharwoods Thai / VN Thai. Actually, been really taken by the VN Thai mango curry ! Recipe on side says; "add tofu, diced sweet potato & fresh spinach. It's crazy good. If you replace the tofu with chicken !!!
